The HBO series "Game of Thrones" character Jon Snow is played by Kit Harington.

On April 24, the much-awaited "Game of Thrones" Season 6 will be back on air and Jon Snow's fate will finally be revealed. However, fans might as well savor this season as it is rumored that season seven will be "GoT"'s last installment.

In the meantime, Inverse made a list of unanswered mysteries that need answers heading into the new season. On top of that list is Jon Snow's condition. Actor Kit Harrington has been avoiding interviews ever since the season five finale aired and this shows that a big revelation might be inbound. Nevertheless, the most plausible theory is that Melisandre will use her sorcery to resurrect the fallen warrior.

Also, it has been confirmed that Bran Stark will make his return in season six with him realizing his full potential as a Warg. But in season 4, fans got a glimpse of the enigmatic Children of the Forest and their relationship with the three-eyed raven will likely be revealed.

Also, Cersei got a taste of her own medicine after she was forced to perform the Walk of Shame. Humiliated, Cersei will probably want revenge against the people that wronged her, and she just got the right monster on her side in The Mountain. The question however, is how will the gigantic monster respond to the queen Lannister.

But most importantly, The Night's King is finally on the move and it would be interesting to see if he and his minions will get their first step in Westeros.

Meanwhile, it is rumored that "Game of Thrones" season 7 will be the show's series finale. But, series creator George R.R. Martin feels like there are still plenty of stories to tell and HBO can make spin-offs out of it.

"There is certainly no lack of material," Martin told Entertainment Weekly in an interview. He stated that "The Naked City" has more than eight million stories to tell, which is similar to his books.

Martin also suggested it could be a two-hour stand-alone movie for television, which will probably be more favorable for HBO. Here is the latest trailer for "Game of Thrones" Season 6.
