Sam Heughan plays the lead role of Jamie Fraser in Starz' "Outlander" television series.

The cast of "Outlander" is always known for its unpredictable and entertaining impromptu acts during interviews and press conferences, which is clearly evident from the recent happening.  During a recent interview of the film's cast members Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe took a dig at viral sad Ben Affleck face.

In a conversation with the People, the "Young Alexander The Great" actor turned witty and funnily mocked Ben Affleck's sad face look taking inspiration from the infamous sad Affleck meme, which  flooded the internet and became a sensation soon after the actor appeared in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" press day sporting a sad look on his face because of the reviews.

Heughan asked the interviewer to recreate the sad face look of Affleck and shared light moments by indulging in cheeky fun with his co-star Balfe. Heughan's performance during the interview and his sad face mischief with Balfe was laughable and very playful indeed, proving once again that "Outlander" cast loves to be comically impulsive.

The popular sad face of Affleck was mocked once again this time by a television star and Balfe joined him too by doing the best imitation of Henry Cavill recreating the whole act together. The sad face of Affleck took the rounds across social media when a YouTube user Sabconth scooped a byte from the footage of Affleck's press conference day for his recent film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

He even went one step further and added Simon and Garfunkel's sad folk song  "Sound Of The Silence" in the background, which tickled everyone's funny bones, Comic Book reported. The video showed Affleck's unhappy face with a slow zoom in and it gave birth to the countless 'Sad Affleck' memes around Internet with teasing humor.

Affleck, who played Batman aka Bruce Wayne in the flick, could not hide his disappointment and maintained a sad face for a the entire time during the interview unlike his co-star Cavill, who was able to mask his emotions well.
