"Fast and Furious 8" is gearing up for its release on April 14, 2017. Michelle Rodriguez is seemingly not happy with anyone filling up the void that has been left after by her co-star and dear friend Paul Walker's death in the upcoming film "Fast and Furious 8."

It is evident from her recent statements and reactions to Scott Eastwood replacing Walker in the upcoming action thriller that she is definitely not pleased and feels otherwise about Eastwood taking on Walker. Eastwood has been officially confirmed as the main cast of the next installation of "Fast and Furious" franchise and will play as long lost brother of Brian O' Conner.

Rodriguez, on the other hand, is upfront and straight in rejecting this fact that Eastwood can take on the things in the upcoming movie like O'Conner did, on the basis of the fact that he resembles Walker. While talking with TMZ, Rodriguez revealed that she is convinced that the film has suffered a great loss due to her friend's death as much as she did.

According to Rodriguez, no one in the world can fill that place left by Walker, not even Clint Eastwood's son. She further added that Eastwood is a cool actor but nonetheless, as long as she lives, no one can stand in lieu of Walker.

Rodriguez, 37, plays the character of Letty in the hit action series and shared a close friendship with Walker for a long time. She had been the closest pal to Walker and had always found Walker close when needed comfort but things changed dramatically after Walker's death, leaving her devastated as well, Stuff New Zealand reported.

Eastwood and Walker are reportedly also known to share a great friendship and brotherhood for years. They are even to travel and surf together back in the days. According to Eastwood, Walker had always been a big brother to him apart from being a role model in his life. He wishes to make him proud by taking up new role in the new series "Fast and Furious 8."
