Samsung Galaxy Note 6: Phablet will have 8GB RAM, Snapdragon 823 chipset, faster firmware updates and more

If reports are anything to go by, Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will have 8GB RAM, Snapdragon 823 chipset and faster firmware updates.

Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will be released in July this year. Previous reports suggested that the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will have faster updates, 6GB of RAM and a larger AMOLED display.

Also, the size of the upcoming Samsung device will likely be 5.77 inches, and the screen resolution will be at 2560 x 1440. The Note 6 will run on the Exynos 8890 processor.

However, according to a new report from SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will have 8GB RAM and will use the Snapdragon 823. Snapdragon 823 chipset will be released around the same time as the Samsung Galaxy Note 6.

It is said that the chipset will pack in a Hexagon Digital Signal Processor, a 720MHz Adreno 530 graphics engine and 64-bit class Kryo quad cores. However, Samsung has not confirmed these rumors.

It is certain that the upcoming Samsung phablet will have more frequent firmware updates and will be faster.

According to Digital Trends, the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will come with Android N out-of-the-box. In addition, the device is expected to have IP68 water resistance.

Google's Android N has a multi-window support that allows users to open two apps at the same time. Direct reply notifications allows users to answer an incoming message from the notification screen. It means that users will not have to navigate away from the book they are reading or the game they are playing.

Rumors are also doing the rounds that the forthcoming Samsung device will ship with a 25 MP camera.

Last year, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 were launched only with an Exynos processor. In 2016, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is available in two variants -  one with Snapdragon 820 chipset and the other with Exynos chip. It means that the electronics company may release two versions of the Note 6.

The Note 5 did not have a microSD card. However, rumor has it that Samsung will introduce a microSD card slot in the upcoming device.
