PlayStation 4K or PS4 Neo specs is a lot more powerful than the PS4.

It looks like a better version of the PlayStation 4 will be unveiled before the year ends, and if reports are proven to be true, the new console will be called PS4 Neo. However, not everybody is pleased with Sony's latest move.

Initially called the PS4K or PS 4.5, the console is reportedly a lot more powerful compared to its predecessor. The CPU of the PS4 is set at 8 Jaguar Cores at 1.6 GHz while Neo will be equipped with 8 Jaguar Cores at 2.1 GHz. For the GPU, PS4 is powered by AMD GCN, 18 CUs at 800 MHz while the newer Neo will have improved AMD GZN, 36 CUs at 911 MHz. Lastly, the PS4 runs at 8GB GDDR5, 176 GB/s memory while Neo will have an enhanced memory at 8 GB GDDR5, 218 GB/s, Extreme Tech reported.

In layman's terms, the PS4 Neo will have no difficulties running games at 1080p with a consistent frame rate of 30 fps. Also, games like "Fallout 4" will mostly benefit on this new technology.

However, some fans are not pleased at all with Sony releasing a new iteration of the console since the PS4 is still relatively new. The only thing gamers are thankful right now is there would not be a PS4 Neo-exclusive games and future titles to be released will run just fine in the PS4, The Lad Bible reported.

Instead, games will now be required to come in with base mode for the original PS4 and a NEO mode for the newer platform. This move by Sony is not something owners of PS4 should be worried about, but the question is on people planning to buy the console with little improvement for the price of $399, the website stated.

Also, fans over at The Lad Bible shared their thoughts on Sony's upgraded console. User Sigpor Andri believes the reason behind Sony releasing a new console is the current console could not handle the VR headset very well. Meanwhile, this convinced user Alan Bester that PC is much more practical compared to a console as PC specs are usually far more advanced, gaming-wise. Lastly, here are some fan reactions regarding the newest console.
