The recently launched new 12-inch Retina MacBook is now available at different Apple Stores around the world.

Apple Inc. launched its new 12-inch Retina MacBook earlier this week. Currently, Apple Stores in the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, The Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom among other countries are receiving limited stock of the notebook for display models.

The Cupertino-based tech giant re-enabled its web-based Personal Pickup tool for the new 12-inch MacBook. According to Mac Rumors, the availability checker reveals that select models are now available at select Apples Stores. These stores are in or near major US cities including Chicago, Houston, Boston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Miami, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, New York, San Antonio, Phoenix, San Francisco, Washington D.C., and San Diego.

In other countries outside the US, the new 12-inch Retina MacBook is also available within the surrounding metropolitan areas of several major international cities. Fans in these regions can get the MacBook in cities like Amsterdam, Berlin, Adelaide, Barcelona, Hamburg, Brisbane, London, Ottawa, Milan, Madrid, Munich, Montreal Paris, Naples, Rome, Perth, Toronto, Sydney, and Vancouver.

Other regions are offering the notebook on a ship-to-store basis. During the launch week, there was limited per-store availability of the 12-inch MacBook, and therefore, it is highly recommended that potential buyers contact their local stores beforehand to confirm in-store stock.

A crowd-sourced list of Apple Stores with new 12-inch MacBook stock can be found in the MacRumors discussion forums. The MacBook will also be available at Apple Authorized Reseller including Amazon, Adorama, B&H Photo, Best Buy, and MacMall among others.

Meanwhile, it is noteworthy that a year after Apple released its 12-inch MacBook; the company has introduced a new model with longer battery life, better performance, improved graphics, and a new rose gold color variant. However, the refurbished MacBook has the same Retina screen, Force Touch Trackpad, a single USB Type-C port similar to its predecessor, and a refreshed keyboard.

Although USB Type-C port is a huge improvement over the previous implementations, there are not many compatible accessories yet. Apple gave its new MacBook a single port to carter for the thinness and sleekness. The new laptop has the same size and weight as its precursor, measuring 0.14 inches thick at its slimmest part and weighing 2.03 pounds.

The new 12-inch Retina MacBook's svelte design is definitely its most significant feature. The only perceivable difference between the 2016 and the 2015 models is the new rose gold color option.

Here is footage for more information on the new MacBook.
