Amazon Kindle convert printed materials into eBooks for smartphones and tablets use with its latest software called Amazon Convert. The newly launched application can now be loaded not only on smart devices but also on to the desktop PCs with Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 operating systems. This enables users to convert their physical materials into eBooks, Geeky Gadgets reported.

Users can scan their physical book and Amazon Convert can transform them into eBooks for users to access from their desktops, smart phones and tablets. The Convert software gives the user the capability to control which to add to their eBook conversion. Add images or autographs to the original copies and it gets customized for personal use.

Kindle Convert is a very practical and easy to use since it downsizes the physical book into a more convenient item which can be brought anywhere through Kindle apps. At present, the Kindle Convert software is being sold at a promo price of $19 for an indefinite time. Normal price sells at $49 per software copy, according to Tom's Hardware.

Using the Kindle Convert software is a piece of cake. First scan the book with Kindle Convert, the apps will search the Amazon database and find a similar title or topic in the library. Users can purchase such existing eBooks when it is available in the library or proceed to create their own eBook.

Scan each page one by one and send into the system. The application can pick up images and handwritings existing on the pages of the book.  Another way is to scan all the pages and convert it into a PDF format images then load it into the Kindle Convert to be checked by the system.

It may sound like a tedious process but will be worth it since users can bring the converted book anywhere as a single file in their tablet or smart phones.
