UFC President Dana White speaks the Launch Of The Reebok UFC Fight Kit at Skylight Modern.

UFC 200 is already stacked despite the Conor McGregor-Nate Diaz rematch was cancelled. However, UFC president Dana White revealed that they are working on a new main event featuring another title match.

White was asked during the UFC 200 press conference if there would be another title on the line on the card besides the UFC women's bantamweight championship.

"We're working on it. Today, we're here announcing what we have so far, UFC 200 is a work in progress. It's still three months away," White answered via Bloody Elbow.

Besides McGregor, only three other champions are not booked for a fight at UFC 200, including flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson, welterweight champion Robbie Lawler and light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier. Johnson last fought on April 23, Saturday while Lawler has not stepped in the Octagon since January when he defended his title against Carlos Condit.

On the other hand, Cormier is recovering from a foot injury he suffered while training for his supposed title match versus Jon Jones, who is now the interim light heavyweight champion. Jones is open to saving the UFC 200 card and a unification bout with DC is a big possibility.

The UFC has also been negotiating with Georges St-Pierre about a return to the promotion and will likely face Lawler. GSP vacated his welterweight belt in 2013 and took time off from mixed martial arts but is very open to fighting again.

As for McGregor, the featherweight champion has caused confusion among MMA fans in the past week. He was officially removed from UFC 200 but the Irishman recently took to Twitter to say that he is back on the card.

According to the UFC's official website, UFC 200 will be held at the newly-opened T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 9, 2016. Here are the matches already set for the biggest event in UFC history but these are always subject to changes due to injuries and other reasons.

  • Jose Aldo vs. Frankie Edgar in a featherweight bout
  • Miesha Tate vs. Amanda Nunes for the UFC women's bantamweight championship
  • Cain Velasquez vs. Travis Browne in a heavyweight bout
  • Johnny Hendricks vs. Kevin Gastelum in a welterweight bout
  • Gegard Mousasi vs. Derek Brunson in a middleweight bout
  • Diego Sanchez vs. Joe Lauzon in a lightweight bout
