No Man's Sky is an upcoming adventure survival video game developed and published by the indie British studio Hello Games.

The most ambitious space exploration game yet is soon to hit gaming shelves, as "No Man's Sky" release date for PS4, Xbox One and PC is poised for a June 21, 2016 launch.

Aside from its breathtaking world, gamers will also be hooked by this game's stunning graphics. Moreover, gamers will get to feel how it is like to be outside Earth and see new animal and plant species.

Not only will the new environment be unique, but it will also be backed up by solid explanation on why certain organisms are colored the way it is. This means, planets will have its own set of characteristics and it will reflect when characters interact with each of it. "No Man's Sky" art director Grant Duncan dished some examples.

"Leaves have complimentary colors compared to the grass," Duncan said in an interview with Tech Times. "If a planet's very hot, everything becomes a little bit more dried out or you'll get more sharp shapes," Hello Games point out."

Also, Duncan said that "No Man's Sky" is not only a sight to behold, but players will also encounter challenges gameplay-wise in each terrain as they progress.

"If the team behind the game is to be trusted, the more you advance toward the center of the 'No Man's Sky' Universe, both landscapes and creatures morph to become increasingly unsettling," he later said in the interview.

What separates this game among other space-exploration games released in the past is that it will have at least 18 quintillion planets waiting to be explored. This might sound impossible for gamers but Hello games will be able to pull this off by using different attributes used in various planets to generate a unique and new planet ready for gamers to explore.

Meanwhile, the artists for "No Man's Sky" are the key contributors to this game due to the wide range of designs they made available.

"When we talk about No Man's Sky, we like to talk about the maths involved in creating the visuals, but really it's our artists that give the game its beautiful style," Hello Games founder Sean Murray told PlayStation Lifestyle. Here is a peak on how the artists of the game approached the game art and design.
