Britney Spears gave Steven Tyler a kiss at Super Bowl XLIX, 14 years after she performed with Aerosmith on stage back last Jan. 28, 2001 during the Super Bowl XXXV Halftime Show, which was held in Tampa, Florida.
Long before the performance of Katy Perry and other celebrities in the recent Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show, Aerosmith was the highlight of the event and performed "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" as well as "Jaded." The group also recruited other known singers including Britney Spears, Nelly, N' Sync, and Mary J. Blige to close the set with the song "Walk This Way." Britney and her former boyfriend Justin Timberlake also performed together while Nelly added a rap. Recently, Timberlake announced that his wife Jessica Biel is pregnant.
Spears appeared in a commercial for Super Bowl XLIX of NFL entitled "Together We Make Footbal." In the 10-second teaser, she applied New Orleans Saints eye black, showing her loyalty to the state of Louisiana, the place where she grew up.
At the game in Arizona, Spears was with her current boyfriend Charlie Ebersol when she bumped into an old friend Tyler. Spears snapped a picture with the rock icon and shared it social media. In the photo, Spears gave Tyler a kiss on his cheek while he raised his sunglasses to show how glad he is for their unexpected reunion during the game.
Tyler, former judge in "American Idol," shared another photo with Spears through his own account on Instagram with a caption "Walk This Way."
