Jun Ji-hyun, also known as Gianna Jun, is a South Korean actress.

Jun Ji Hyun is said to be prepping for a full blast comeback on the TV screen this second half of the year. Speculations are rife that the 34-year-old actress and BigBang's G-Dragon will reportedly work together in a new commercial film (CF).

The good news came to light when an unnamed source in the advertisement industry claimed that the actress has already recovered her pre-pregnancy figure, indicating readiness in making a comeback to the small screen. It is said that Jun and G-Dragon will collaborate in a new CF for Shinsegae Duty-Free Shop.

"She [Jun Ji Hyun] has a lot of commercials for renewed contracts, as well as new contracts," a source told Sports Seoul on April 13, as cited by News Everyday. "She has shoots planned for fashion and beauty brands."

Earlier reports noted that May and June are an ideal opportunity to film new commercials in view of the approaching summer season. Hence, it is said that Jun will come back to work eventually this month since she is no longer able to push back the shooting of commercials for her signed lucrative endorsement deals.

Not long after the reports circulated on the web, avid fans of Jun and G-Dragon are now highly anticipating the supposed joint project. It has been reported that the filming of the new CF will kick off sooner or later within this month.

Jun, who first gained widespread fame with "My Sassy Girl" as The Girl in 2001, went on maternity leave since October 2015 and gave birth to her first child in February. In the midst her maternity leave, the star reportedly received offers for various roles in new TV drama and films.

One of this is a female lead role in new drama coming from "My Love from the Star" writer, Park Ji Eun, but no decisions have been made yet. In any case, it has been learned that the actress is considering the offer in a positive manner, Soompi reported.

The new drama is said to be directed by Jin Hyuk, who helmed the blockbuster TV series - "Master's Sun" and "City Hunter." There are were various newsstands in China who claimed that the new drama will be completely pre-produced and that it will be broadcast in the latter half of the year on the SBS network.

Nonetheless, the unnamed source stressed that the actress will consider what project she will take on once she finishes wrapping up her postponed commercials. Jun's last project in Korea was the 2015's espionage action film called "Assassination."
