Shinsuke Nakamura has only made limited appearances on the WWE Network but he is already one of the top merchandise sellers in the company. The latest rumors suggest that big push may be coming for The King of Strong Style once he makes his debut on the main roster.

According to Wrestling News, Nakamura's t-shirt that was released on May 2, Monday in Japan was quickly sold out in just a few hours. Those same t-shirts are also one of the best-selling items on the online WWE Shop just trailing The New Day's "Booty-O" t-shirts.

It is considered as a very impressive merchandise selling power for Nakamura since he is not a member of the WWE main roster. He also just made several TV appearances since signing with the WWE on January 27.

The former NJPW star made his NXT debut at the "NXT TakeOver: Dallas" event on WrestleMania weekend against Sami Zayn. The match is considered a Match of the Year candidate and may very well win it at the end of 2016.

The report also noted that his entrance official theme titled "The Rising Sun" was listed as the number one of the iTunes charts. His theme also became the first WWE music to have at least 1 million views on YouTube.

WWE's upcoming Japan tour that will feature Nakamura and NXT Women's champion Asuka also sold out in just five minutes. According to Wrestling Inc, WWE regularly pushes superstars who move merchandise as evidenced by The New Day.

Some of the top sellers in WWE history include John Cena and Stone Cold Steve Austin, two of the most pushed superstars of all time. If Nakamura continues to do very well on merchandise, it is very likely that WWE will give him a push.

Vince McMahon's company is trying to break into the Asian market and Nakamura is his biggest star from that continent. He possesses an insane amount of charisma and is one of the best wrestlers in the world.

Many fans are hoping that the 36-year-old will make his debut on the main roster soon and battle it out with the best WWE superstars like A.J. Styles, Cesaro, Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho.
