Fans of the “Descendants of the Sun” star who may never have enough of the 30-year-old actor would be happy to know that Song Joong-ki is gracing again the cover of another fashion magazine.
His being on the cover of Marie Claire for its June issue follows Song Joong-ki stint as cover boy of Vogue Korea. The fashion magazine dedicated 18 pages to the actor who played Army Captain Yoo Shi-jin in the 16-episode Korean Hallyu, according to a Facebook fan page.
One black-and-white photo shows the actor wearing a hoodie. Marie Claire posted the photo shoot images on Thursday on its Instagram account.
Meanwhile, the actor just added another endorsement to his long list of commercials. His latest is Cuchen rice cooker. According to Only Durable Stuff, the Cuchen rice cookers are little bit more expensive than Cuckoo which is the more popular brand.
However, the marketing website said for South Korean who cook rice every, they will not go wrong with the brand endorsed by Song Joong-ki since it used black diamond coating which keeps more of the rice nutrients while cooking. It also keeps the rice warm for longer hours with the rice turning yellow which is a common problem if a cheap and low quality rice cooker is used. The Cuchen Black Diamond IH Pressure Cooker – which comes in six and 10 cups models – sells for $439, according to Amazon.
Song Joong-ki has “Descendants of the Sun” to thank for his unprecedented popularity which made him not only the most popular actor in China and South Korea but also the favorite endorser of a lot of products, from cosmetics to clothes to airlines and now even rice cookers.
