Bioware has just announced that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will now be delayed a little longer, and this time it is scheduled to be released in early 2017. They have also revealed that the game will be showcased at the EA Play conference just before the E3 event this year.

General Manager Aaryn Flynn said on the game developers' official website, the game will now be released in early 2017. They have been playing the game recently at their studio, and it has given them the impression that the game is now in the right direction. This is the reason why they want it to be delayed, so that they can be sure that the game is delivered perfectly during launch.

Flynn also said that the game will be showcased in their press conference that will be held on June 12, which is days ahead of the E3 event. Fans and curious gamers will expect some new content from the game like gameplay, new features, and more.

The game developers have promised that the game will have more freedom for players to enjoy a great game experience. Players will also be able to find other uncharted worlds in the Andromeda area where they will find new allies, fight new enemies, and explore the unknown. Flynn added that this will be the first "Mass Effect" game for the current consoles, and will be the first game of the franchise to be built on the Frostbite engine.

The game developers said in an interview with Ars Technica at E3 2015 that the game will focus on giving the player an interesting party to accompany with on different adventures. Players will have to build relationships with those characters in their party since it will be a core component of the game. Flynn added that it is one of the common features that the game developers implement in the whole game franchise.

The game developers have been secretive about the new game they are developing right now, but there was a trailer that gave away a few clues about the game.  One of those clues was a pair of dog tags that had a label of a name RYDER, which could be the hero or heroine's name.
