Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are not getting back together despite reports claiming otherwise.
Speculations are rife that Affleck and Garner rekindled their romance after the duo were recently spotted having a get-away in Paris earlier this week. The estranged couple was spotted in a really good mood - laughing and joking with each other.
While reports claim that the two were reportedly making efforts to make things work, an unnamed source stressed that the ex-couple is still planning to move forward with the divorce and that nothing has changed in their relationship.
"There's absolutely no shot of reconciliation," the insider told E! News. "They are just doing a really good job of co-parenting. They are working really hard to create normalcy for their kids. That is their focus."
Affleck and Garner have stayed friendly for the sake of their three children: 10-year-old Violet, 7-year-old Seraphina and 4-year-old son Samuel. It was learned that Garner and the kids are currently staying in London for around a month, in which the 43-year-old actor is currently filming the forthcoming superhero film called "The Justice League Part One."
It is said that Garner plans to travel back and forth amongst Paris and London, while Affleck reprises his role as Bruce Wayne aka Batman in the upcoming film. Affleck and Garner began dating in mid-2004 after meeting on the set of 2003's "Daredevil," and shortly tied the wedding knot on June 29, 2005 in a private ceremony at the Parrot Cay resort on the Turks and Caicos Islands.
In June 2015, the couple officially called it quits. Rumors soon whirled that the actor had an affair with the family nanny named Christine Ouzounian. However, the 44-year-old actress later insisted to Vanity Fair that she and Affleck were at that point separated when the alleged affair occurred, and stressed that the family nanny was not a part of the equation.
In spite of their divorce announcement, the estranged couple is still living on the same property together and admitted that they have no plans to change that arrangement at any point in the near future. In March, Affleck and Garner stated that each step that they take is one where they prioritize their children, and everything else comes next.
