Although Valve has remained quiet about the whole “Left 4 Dead 3” rumor, fans are saying that the game will be released by early next year, while “Half Life 3” is going to have a 2018 release date.

Avid fans of the "Left 4 Dead" series are already clamoring for the precursor sequel to "Left 4 Dead 2." It is rumored that the game may come out during the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016, which is scheduled for June 14 to 16.

Valve Corporation is yet to issue any official statement concerning the release of "Left 4 Dead 3." However, fans are hopeful after spotting a job posting on the game co-developer Turtle Rock Studios' official website. The post indicated that the company is soliciting for an animation programmer.

The job posting on the website reads, "We are searching for an exceptional programmer to help us in developing unique and stunning characters for an unannounced, cutting edge game targeting next generation hardware."

Because of this post, rumors have emerged that Turtle Rock Studios is currently working on the upcoming "unannounced" game, which is speculated to be "Left 4 Dead 3." However, fans should not be so optimistic since Turtle Rock Studios founder Phil Robb initially announced that the company is no longer participating in the development of another sequel in the "Left 4 Dead" series.

In an interview with Xbox Achievements, Robb said, "I think we're pretty much done with it. It's Valve's thing now. We've kind of gone off in our own direction. So I'd kinda like to see something new being done with it, and Valve always does great stuff, but it'd be cool to go back to it as just a fan and not a developer. But I doubt you'll see anything from us."

Both Valve Corporation and Turtle Rock Studios have not confirmed the relationship between the job posting and the much-awaited "Left 4 Dead 3" game. However, more speculations show that the game will have four characters, including one female.

For now, avid fans should take every bit of information with a grain of salt until the game developers finally give an official statement. Stay tuned for details as soon as they trickle in.

Here is a sneak peek to have a glimpse of what fans expect the upcoming game to look like.
