Microsoft Surface Pro 5 release date set June as Surface Pro 4 receives a price cut of $150

Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will be released in June as Surface Pro 4 has received a price cut of $150.

Best Buy and Microsoft Store are currently offering the Surface Pro 4 (Intel Core i5, 256 GB, 8 GB of RAM) for $1,199. The initial price of the Microsoft device is $1,299.

Also, Best Buy and Microsoft Store are selling the Surface Pro 4 (Intel Core i7, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB)  for $1,449. The original price of the tablet is $1,599.

The Surface Pro 4 (Intel Core i7,16 GB RAM, 256 GD SSD drive) is currently available for $1,649. The original price of the Surface Pro 4 is $1799.

Best Buy is also offering the Surface Pro 4 (Intel Core i7, 512 GB, 16 GB of RAM) for $2,049. The regular price of the model is $2,199.

Moreover, Microsoft Store is offering a discount of $30 on Surface Dock for purchasers of two models of SP 4 that are powered by Intel Core i5 and Intel Core i3 processors. It is important to note that these offers are available in the United States only.

Meanwhile, there are speculations that the tech company Microsoft will unveil the Surface Pro 5 in June this year. According to reports, the Surface Pro 5 (entry-level version) will cost about $899. Its Intel Core i7 edition will cost around $999 and the advanced version will cost about $1,599.

It is believed that the upcoming Surface Pro 5 will come with a bigger screen of 13.3 inches and will support 4K resolution.

Speculations are doing the rounds that the Intel Kaby Lake processor will power the forthcoming tablet. The processor is expected to deliver longer battery life that will help in enhancing overall performance of Microsoft Surface Pro 5. However, according to some reports, the Surface Pro 5 will feature Intel Skylake processor.

It is expected that the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will come with a bigger battery that may last for 7 hours.

Furthermore, the Surface Pro 5 is expected to have USB Type-C port. Speculations are doing the rounds that the forthcoming Surface Pro 5 will feature a fingerprint reader.
