'Fallout 4' DLC Update: 'Far Harbor' expansion to launch this week; Bethesda showcase new Harpoon Gun, Marine Combat Armor, more monsters in latest trailer [VIDEO]

Fallout 4 is an action-RPG video game created by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks.

"Fallout 4" will feature the release of its new DLC expansion, "Far Harbor" this week along with a new trailer detailing the new weapons, armor and monsters.

Bethesda Softworks will launching its upcoming DLC "Far Harbor" this week on May 19 as gamers are now handed instructions on how to download the huge expansion on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC platforms.

The DLC will launch at midnight and gamers can find it on Steam for the PC, Xbox Live on the Xbox One and the PSN in the PS4, but before they can download it make sure they have the the most recent patch update of "Fallout 4". Once the DLC is installed, play "Fallout 4" and check the add-ons section of the main menu. If ithe DLC is not yet installed, try restarting the system and check its connection, VG 24/7 reported.

Gamers can start playing "Far Harbor" by checking their quest journal and details on where and who they need to go and see.

In other news, Bethesda streamed the latest trailer for "Far Harbor" in "Fallout 4" as the game developers explain the many new features of the DLC from its city, environment and people to new weapons, armor and monsters that players will encounter in the expansion.

As explained in the video, "Far Harbor" DLC has a huge landmass in which gamers can freely explore the large horizos ahead from montains, swamps and harbor. Gamers will meet strange folks in the island of Far Harbor along with the Children of Atom and a group of synths.

There are also new weapons and armor being introduced in "Far Harbor" DLC such as the meat hook for melee combat and range weapons such as the Harpoon Gun and the Lever Action Rifle. Gamers are introduced to the Marine Combat Armor, which is said to be the most powerful armor in the game today.

Gamers are also introduced to new mutated monsters such as the salamander like creature called the Gulper, an dangerous amphibian simply known as the Angler and the Fog Crawler, which is bigger than the Deathclaw.

Previous reports revealed that the next DLC after "Far Harbor" will be based on a theme park called "Nuka World" as someone from Reddit was able to access "Fallout 4's" game files and leaked it out on the internet, Gamerant reported. The new DLC will feature new contents for the Workshop in "Fallout 4".

"Far Harbor" will cost around $24.99 with a download size of 2.69GB, as well as Creation Mod Kits for the Xbox One after its release, while the PS4 version will launch on June.

"Fallout 4" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
