Apple is now rebranding their retail store in San Francisco to be opened on May 21 with a new structural design and motif that would hopefully attract more customers.

The new Apple Store just across the Union Square Park in the city features huge 42-foot sliding glass doors that also function as two-story windows. As if that was not enough to wow the onlookers and customers, Apple has also installed a massive 6K video screen on the store's second floor.

Interestingly, Apple has also planted small living trees inside instead of outside. Another impressive feat is that they have a 47-year old restored fountain from Ruth Asawa who is also from San Francisco, The Verge reported.

Of course, the overall aesthetic design is still in line with the Cupertino-based company's clean and sleek minimal motif. The new store is highly geometrical but still exudes elegance.

Angela Ahrendts told reporters during the preview of the new Apple Store that it shows openness and transparency, Fortune reported. It is one of the reasons why they have used mighty tall glass doors and windows.

Besides blindly spending all of the customers' money for their products, Apple is also looking to provide their loyal followers with a place to hang out. Social climber groups could then bring their second hand iPhone 6 and take selfies inside the new cool Apple Store.

Just outside the store is a backyard "forum" that Apple will be opening for 24 hours a day and seven days a week. It features a 50-foot green wall and free Wi-Fi access so that anyone near it can quickly update their Facebook, Twitter or Instagram accounts and boast that they are chilling in the new place.

Ahrendts said that the Apple Stores are their largest products. They act as the physical footprints of the iPhone maker in the real world.

"This is more than just a store. We want people to say, 'Hey, meet me at Apple.'," said Ahrendts.

Almost all of Apple's products are also placed inside the store for demo purposes. Apple will be officially opening the store's gigantic glass doors on May 21.
