Arnold Schwarzenegger speaks to Hafthor Julius Bjornsson of Iceland after he won the Arnold Classic Professional Strongman competition during the 2016 Arnold Classic on March 19, 2016 in Melbourne, Australia.

Katherine Schwarzenegger, 26, was on "The Talk" on May 25, Wednesday, where she talked about the divorce of her parents Arnold Schwarzenegger, 68, and Maria Shriver, 60. The author praised how her parents kept the family together despite their public split in 2011.

"My parents were very, very big on making sure that we remained a family unit no matter what happened," Katherine said. "And they did a really good job at that."

According to Katherine, Arnold and Shriver stayed committed to children after the divorce. The daughter explained that in general, her parents are just very supportive parents as they come out together for everything whether it is a birthday party or a graduation.

Katherine added that their family remained "very, very normal" and they just have much love for each other and are "overly obsessed" with each other. For her, both of her parents did a great job, particularly in maintaining their family unit.

Shriver filed for divorce shortly after "The Terminator" star admitted to fathering a child, Joseph Baena, with the family housekeeper Mildred Baena 14 years earlier. During an appearance on "60 Minutes," the actor said, "I asked them for forgiveness. They cried. It tears your heart out."

In an interview with Howard Stern on his SiriusXM radio show in 2015, Arnold said that Joseph is terrific and he totally understands the situation, which is very tough for him as it is for everyone. The former governor of California added that it has all worked out.

Arnold is set to reprise the title role in the upcoming action fantasy film "The Legend of Conan." He played the role in "Conan the Barbarian" in 1982 and in "Conan the Destroyer" in 1984.

In addition, Arnold is also set to star in the upcoming drama thriller film "478," which is written by Javier Gullon and directed by Elliot Lester. His co-stars are Maggie Grace, Kevin Zegers, Scoot McNairy, Glenn Morshower, Mo McRae, Hanna Ware, Tammy Tsai, Kim Evans, Logan Fry, Matthew W. Allen, Rex Alba and Scott A. Martin, among others.
