"One Punch Man" is an ongoing Japanese webcomic created by an author using the pseudonym One, which began publication in early 2009.

It was just in December 2015 when the hit anime series "One Punch Man" concluded its first season on the small screen, and with its strong demand to its fans, it is said that the second installment of the series is currently in the works and is getting ready for an October 2016 premiere.

According to Christian Times, there were reports that the manga creator of "One Punch Man" Yusuke Murata and the team behind the hit manga series are now in their first production phase. It is said that they are now working with urgency in order to complete their work on time so that Madhouse Entertainment, the production company that helms the creation of the manga's anime version, can finish their job sooner. With this, fans may be able to see their favorite Japanese anime series on the small screen within the year, while rumors say that October could be a possible premiere month.

According to reports, Murata has been hands on in terms of helping Madhouse Entertainment in the production of "One Punch Man" Season 2. It is also said that Murata and his team has already started their paperwork since 2015.

On the other hand, most reports are leading to details that the first episode of "One Punch Man" Season 2 will showcase a fight between Lord Boros and Saitama.

It can be recalled that Boros lost his fight against the one punch hero in their clash during the first season's finale episode. It was also shown that Boros lost his arm during the fight and admitted that his power is quite not enough to defeat Saitama. Despite that, it is said that Boros has the ability to regenerate, and is going to face the bald hero again, Breathe Cast has learned. It is also cited by the said publication that the first episode will also reveal the newest villain, who was said to be Amai Mask, a Class A Rank 1 hero.

As of the moment, the release date and plot of the anticipated "One Punch Man" Season 2 remains as rumors.
