Newly-appointed Manchester United head coach Jose Mourinho is reportedly keen on a reunion with his former Chelsea pupil, Brazilian winger Willian, at the Old Trafford this summer for a transfer of £60 million.

The 53-year-old Portuguese manager, who had just agreed on personal terms to join United and replace the sacked Louis van Gaal this summer, is said to be keen on snatching his "old-boy Willian" from the Stamford Bridge "to join his Manchester United revolution", The Sun reported.

Mourinho was the one who got Willian to the Blues in the summer of 2013 for a fee of £30 million from Russian Premier League side Anzhi Makhachkala and it was reported that the Special One is ready to pay double, £60 million, just to bring the Ribeirão Pires, Brazil native with him once more in Manchester.

Willian, 27, showed signs that he also wants to be with his former boss starting next season. He was all praises for Mourinho during an interview in Los Angeles, where the Brazil national team was training for the upcoming Copa America Centenario in June.

"Jose is one of the most successful coaches in the world and Manchester United will be stronger with him as manager," Willian said, as per Caught Offside. "I played some of my best football under Mourinho. He is a special coach and I have a great relationship with him."

"Winning the Premier League with him was one of the highlights of my career. I was sad things didn't work out after that," he added.

Willian still has two more years before his contract expires in Stamford Bridge, but it looks like he will be on his way out as soon as Mourinho steps in and gives Chelsea a bid for the 5-foot-9 attacking midfielder.

When asked if he is ready to reunite with Mourinho right now, Willian answered safely with "I don't think about that. I'm here on Copa America duty with Brazil and I'm not here to do interviews about other things."

Willian just finished his third season with Chelsea and had appeared in a total of 137 games in all competitions for the Blues during the whole time, scoring 19 goals in the process.
