French striker Antoine Griezmann could be headed to an Atletico Madrid exit this summer as reports were out that he had been "listening" to offers from different clubs recently.

Daily Mail Online reported that the 25-year-old goal scorer "could leave" the Vicente Calderón Stadium in the offseason following confirmation from his agent that "he was considering offers from a number of clubs".

Griezmann, who produced fantastic performances in the two seasons so far he had been with Atleti, is said to be a target of several English Premier League squads such as Manchester United and Chelsea.

The 5-foot-9 Mâcon, France native was acquired by Los Colchoneros in the summer of 2014 from La Liga team Real Sociedad for a transfer fee of €30 million. He signed a six-year deal with the Spanish capital city squad then and had blossomed into one of the best strikers in Europe since then.

He scored 32 goals in 53 appearances in all competitions for Atleti in the just concluded season while netting 57 times in 106 games overall in his first two years with the club.

With 22 goals in the Spanish top flight this term, Griezmann placed sixth in La Liga's top scorers list behind the football superstars of Barcelona and Real Madrid, namely Luis Suárez (40), Cristiano Ronaldo (35), Lionel Messi (26), Neymar (24), and Karim Benzema (24).

Atleti reportedly offered Griezmann a new and improved contract to stave off the advances of the Red Devils and the Blues, but his agent, Eric Olhats, confirmed that the Frenchman is yet to decide whether he will stay in Spain or not.

"Contrary to certain claims announcing that Antoine at Atletico next season will be the case without fail, nothing has been decided or endorsed," said Olhats, as per Caught Offside. "We are currently listening to different clubs who also offer real interest and attraction."

This season, Griezmann had been excellent not only in the domestic leagues but also in continental competitions.

He led Atleti past defending champions Barcelona in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League with a double in their second leg match at the Vicente Calderón. He also scored the winning goal in the semifinals against Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, which propelled Atletico to the Final against cross-city rivals Real Madrid.
