Israeli actress Ania Bukstein plays Princess Kinvara in HBO's 'Game of Thrones.'

"Game of Thrones" actress Ania Bukstein debuts in Season 6 of the massive hit HBO TV series. Many viewers are actually wondering where her role as the mysterious Red Priestess Kinvara comes from.

Bukstein was born in Moscow but she moved to Israel when she was 8 years old, according to Haaretz. In Israel, she is widely known for movies such as "Rabies," "False Flag" and "The Secrets" in addition to having appeared in various popular shows.

Bukstein has received praises after her first appearance in "Game of Thrones" Season 6. Her name became even more viral on social media since then. At the same time, as a singer, she recently released her fourth music single "We Have a Chance."

Meanwhile, several questions have been raised as to what impact Bukstein's Red Priestess Kinvara, besides having sparked some interest in Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), would possibly bring to the Season 6 of the HBO series.

For one, the name Kinvara is said to have emerged from the leaked "Game of Thrones" audition sides that pertain to a scene involving the Priestess and Tyrion, according to Bustle. That scene also revealed that Melisandre is not the only priestess for Season 6 of the popular TV show .The leaked sides also hinted that Kinvara has confidence in Daenerys Targaryen being Azor Ahai reborn, which can lead to a clashing of the chosen ones, Daenerys and Jon Snow.

On the other hand, it was noted that the priestess' name is not found in the in the "A Song Of Ice And Fire" novels, which leads to two possibilities. First, she may be a new character by HBO or, George R. R. Martin has yet to introduce her to the book readers.

In addition, Kinvara is a name of an Irish City and it is likely that naming a character after that city is HBO's way of giving respect to Ireland where most of the scenes for "Game of Thrones" are filmed. There are also those who assume that Kinvara is just a name and that it does not offer any clues about such character.

Nevertheless, Bukstein playing Kinvara is positively received by fans and that is certainly a good thing for HBO's "Game of Thrones."
