"Game of Thrones" Star Emilia Clarke reveals that she has no qualms over male nudity and in real life she is the mother of puppies, not dragons.
This surprising announcement comes after last Sundays "Game of Thrones" episode, which according to Vanity Fair, finally included a brief appearance of a male's genitalia as the answer to fans' insistent demand for nudity from the male actors of the series. In line with this, Emilia Clarke was, in fact, all for full frontal male nudity.
During her appearance on Stephen Colbert's "The Late Show" last Monday, Clarke said, "You know, I did it; why can't the boys do it?" The actress who plays Daenerys Targaryen on the hit HBO TV series is no stranger to appearing naked on screen.
Clarke also told Colbert, "I did it before in Season 1, and people like to talk about it, so I just wanted to come out and do an empowered scene that wasn't sexual; it was naked, but it was strong."
Moving on, the rest of the show was not all serious as the host and the Game of Thrones actress even had an eyebrow-waggling showdown. It was also revealed on that same show that she is very much a dog lover so she considers herself a "Mother of Dogs," not dragons, in real life.
Meanwhile, As far as stripping on set is concerned, this is not the first time she has pleaded for male nudity on "Game of Thrones." She made her first attempt to plea for that kind of equality on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" last month, according to Esquire. That is why when it finally happened on the most recent episode she believes it's about time.
Additionally, the online publication reports that when Clarke did another naked scene in Season 4 that was all her and not a body double was used as with the case of Lena Headey in Cersei's "Walk of Shame" in Season 5. Clarke understands why some actors use a double but she, on the other hand, believes that it is a total badass for an actress to be able to do a scene without clothes on.
However, when the penis-flashing finally happened on the most recent episode Emilia Clarke believes that it is about time.
