During the "Game of Thrones" season 6 episode 5, Khaleesi, the character played by Emilia Clarke, has been seen naked toward the end of the episode. The actress confirmed in a recent interview that she'd be willing to do another scene again if it would create a deeper meaning and impact on the story or its characters.
It can be recalled during the episode that Khaleesi burned all the Khals gathered inside the temple of Dosh Khaleen. As the fire burns the entire temple, she emerged in front of all the Dothrakis, naked yet unburned.
The scene became a shock for the series' followers as it can be recalled that Emilia Clarke herself said she would not be doing any naked scene that she even signed a no-nudity clause before. However, this was contradicted by the actress when she recently said it was right to make the sudden "u-turn" since it was empowering for the character she played to come out from a big fire, News.com.au reported.
The 29-year old actress revealed she was even thrilled for doing the scene since it was not being naked for no reason. Clarke said she was naked to give an implication how her character destroyed her enemies after underestimating her.
In an interview with the Sun, Clarke revealed she only needed vodka and some "flattering lighting" for her to become ready to shoot the explicit scene. She even set the record straight when she said that it would be fine with her to do another kind of scene as long as it "forwards a story" or adds "insight into characters."
In another statement, the sexiest woman alive said she is all proud that she was able to shoot the scene without using any body double. She even expressed she was "genuinely happy" she said yes in doing the act.
Does this mean viewers and avid "Game of Thrones" fans should expect more explicit scenes for the Mother of Dragons? This is yet to be determined once the next episodes roll out in the coming weeks.
