Donnie Yen attends the red carpet arrivals of 'Kung Fu Jungle' during the 58th BFI London Film Festival at Empire Leicester Square on October 12, 2014 in London, England.

"Rouge One: A Star Wars Story" is just six months away from hitting the box office, but it seems that Disney is not happy with the way how the entire production work has been carried out do far. The film is already in crisis and requires major reshoots.

The Disney executives are clearly not satisfied with the first cut of the movie directed by Gareth Edwards, a source confirmed to Page Six. It is speculated that this is the reason why major reshoots involving actor Donnie Yen have been planned and the source confirmed to the publication, "The execs at Disney are not happy with the movie, and 'Rogue One' will have to go back into four weeks of expensive reshoots in July."

Yen plays the role of Chirrut, one of the heroes in the movie. The actor confirmed in an interview with Jayne Stars that he will have to go back to London for additional photography, However, it was not confirmed whether there will be any further additional reshoots for the movie.

Yen further said that he decided to do "Rouge One: A Star Wars Story" because his kids are a huge fan of the Star Wars franchise. He eventually ended up picking up the project since it was a rare opportunity being offered to a Chinese actor.

Meanwhile, a Disney official confirmed to Page Six that Edwards was selected as a director of the "Rouge One: A Star Wars Story" because of his work in big giants like "Godzilla." That is why the expectations from the first spin-off movie was high, but the director seems to have not done any justice with it. This is quite evident from Disney's reaction to the first cut.

However, the source further cleared that the studio members always anticipated reshoots to happen to make the film as best as it could be. Therefore, the actors were already mentally prepared and ready for the additional photography and shoots.

There is an additional burden on the "Rouge One: A Star Wars Story" team to deliver the best as they can, especially after the release of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" in December 2015. The first spinoff is slated for release in December.

The following is the official trailer for the movie:
