'Wolverine 3' rumors: Logan to crosover to the MCU after third spin-off; Hugh Jackman sports 'Old Man Logan' look on the film set!

Wolverine 3 will serve as the last X-Men spin-off starring Hugh Jackaman and Patrick Stewart and directed by James Mangold

The latest details for "Wolverine 3" will feature Hugh Jackman sporting the "Old Man Logan" look in the movie and will Logan crossover to the Marvel Cinematic Universe after the third spin-off.

It seems that filming for "Wolverine 3" has begun as several behind-the-scenes photos features "X-Men" star Hugh Jackman sporting an old grizzle grey-peppered beard with a black suit and tie, Just Jared reported.

It was speculated that the latest "Wolverine" spin-off will be based on Mark Miller and Steve McNiven's comic boo storyline "Old Man Logan", which depicts a much older and seasoned Logan/Wolverine and it seems the photos have supported this speculation as audiences will see that version of the character on the big screen.

Just before the bts photos were released online Jackman has posting several photos on his Instagram showing off his new bearded look in preparation for "Wolverine 3" as it serves as Jackman's last portrayal of feral mutant in the "X-Men" film series.

It is previously reported that Logan in "Wolverine 3" will face a number of powerful and villanous groups such as The Reavers, The Hellfire Club and Essex group. The Reavers are led by Donald Pierce is rumored to be played by "Gone Girl" actor Boyd Holbrooks, while "The Iron Lady" star Richard E. Grant is added to the cast of "Wolverine 3" playing a mad scientist in the film.

The Essex group will likely play a huge part in the movie as they might be responsible for creating Laura Kinney/X-23, the female mutant clone of Wolverine.

In other news, several rumors and speculations are making rounds that Wolverine might be featured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"Captain America: Civil War" directors Joe and Anthon Russo had expressed their desire to have Wolverine in the MCU as part of "Avengers: Infinity War", ComicBookMovie reported. Fox currently owns the rights to the character's name in the "X-Men" franchise, but with Jackman's retirement of the character imminent after the "Wolverine 3" it seems that their is a possibility to bring Logan into the MCU.

Jackman stated before that he wanted Wolverine to be part of the MCU, particilarly with the Avengers, even teasing a fight between Logan and Bruce Banner/The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo).

"Wolverine 3" will be release in cinemas on March 3, 2017.
