In a scene of "X-Men: Apocalypse," Cyclops (left) and Jean Grey (right) are bothered of what they have seen.

"X-Men: Dark Phoenix" is making noise on the web right now. Some fans are hoping that next to "X-Men: Apocalypse," attention would hopefully be given to the character of Jean Grey as portrayed by Sophie Turner of the "Game of Thrones."

"X-Men" fans and genuine comic enthusiast are hoping that such consideration would be translated into a movie that is faithful to the true character and potentials of Jean Grey as the Dark Phoenix and not just a mere destroyer and tool for some villain. Given that the Dark Phoenix is one of the most interesting sagas in the world of "X-Men," a movie about the dark side of Jean Grey could propel the franchise towards greater heights and avoid redundancy.

The "X-Men" installments in the past years have become quite obvious with its predictable storyline. And perhaps it is one of the reasons why "Apocalypse" is the fourth-lowest out of nine "X-Men" movies, with only $80 million opening weekend.

A mutant threatening the world and extinction of humanity coupled with a group of mutants united to save the day has become creatively redundant, according to Den of Geek. And if this would continue, despite advances in special effects, moviegoers might get exhausted and ban "X-Men" from their movie list.

An in-depth focus on the character of Jean Grey and other interesting characters like Nightwalker could mean a change of scenery for "X-Men." Since the Dark Phoenix holds a place in the cosmic world, the intergalactic adventure could excite fans, similar to the effect of time-travel concept the installment previously introduced.

Though there is still no update on the clamor or request of some fans, Turner, who played Jean Grey in the latest "X-Men" installment, in a way dropped a hint or expressed an interest for a "X-Men: Dark Phoenix" movie.

"It's kind of set up for it in (Apocalypse) - you see hints of Phoenix. And it's really exciting that we're kind of exploring this good Phoenix at the moment and we're not doing the Dark Phoenix." Sophie Turner said in an interview with USA Today." There are so many ways we can go with the character, and with these super-strong powers that she has, they should make a Dark Phoenix saga. (But) let's hope I'll be a good superhero for a while."

The idea of "X-Men: Dark Phoenix" right just after "X-Men: Apocalypse" may be risky but inevitable interesting. Guess we would just have to wait on which road Professor Xavier and the rest of the mutant will take soon.  As a refresher here below is a video presentation about the character of Jean Grey as Dark Phoenix:
