New "Final Fantasy XV" details will have the release of episode 2 of "Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV", new game features and chocobo combat in the latest gameplay trailer.
Game director Hajime Tabata revealed new game details for "Final Fantasy XV" as he answered several questions from video game fans during a recent Japanese Active Time Report. For starters, Tabata revealed that "Final Fantasy XV" will feature a new skill tree system which allows players to unlock new abilities when they level up, seven types of standard weapon categories as each one of them has a variety of weapons to choose from.
There is also a fast travel option from the previous area that the player is rested, drive a car and listen to any "Final Fantasy" music in the stereo. Sadly, there will not be any music outside of the "Final Fantasy" games due to copyright issues; however, Tabata stated that it is something that they will be working on soon.
Tabata added that the combat in "Final Fantasy XV" will not be too difficult and there will be difficulty settings. The game will not feature a climbing action and even a gallery mode, but Square Enix will likely add the gallery mode in its post-launch plans.
Players must be careful when landing the car on flight mode, because if they crash the car, it is game over for them. They can also save their game whenever they like and they will not have to camp around to do it. The game will not have an open-world style gameplay, but once the players made progress within the story they will see and visit different places withing "FFXV".
When asked about the graphics about the game, Tabata teased that more will be revealed at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo as the latest Active Time Report will take place a day before the actual event.
Lastly, Square Enix will showcase episode 2 of "Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV" anime during E3 2016 event, Siliconera reported.
