The latest details for "No Man's Sky" will feature a confirmed release date for the game, a possible Mac version next year and game director gives updates after receiving death treats.
Hello Games confirmed that their upcoming sci-fi adventure game, "No Man's Sky" will released on Aug. 9 for the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms after they announced that the game will be delayed to from its previous launch date in June.
As a result, Hello Games director Sean Murray tweeted on his personal Twitter page that he has received several death threats, possibly from the gamers across the world after "No Man's Sky's" delayed release date announcement.
Murray then followed up a series of tweets regarding the incident, often adding humor into it, but nonetheless made an update as he made a post on PlayStation Blog stating that they have reached the final deadline and are now polishing what needs to be done within "No Man's Sky" to bring the gaming fans up to their standards. He added that it was a tough decision on his part to delay the game after nearing its release date, but he assured fans that they will deliver something special to them when the "No Man's Sky" launches on August.
In other news, Several rumors are making rounds regarding the possibility that "No Man's Sky" might be heading the Mac sometime next year.
Although gamers can install a window's program on their Mac computers to play "No Man's Sky", there is still a bit of hope that a Mac version could be in the works and gamers will have to wait for further announcements from Hello Games after they have launched, thus having several post launch plans, MacWorld reported.
"No Man's Sky" will feature over18 quintillion planets in a huge universe as players can travel through space, land and even underwater. Gamers will the opportunity to explore different terrains and discover all sorts of plants and wild alien creatures.
Players can upgrade their weapons, gear and space ship using all of available resources within planet, but they must be beware that enemy sentinels will be present if ever they decide to attack the planet.
Hyperdrive upgrades are also needed for players to travel further into the galaxy. Murray stated that gamers will likely bump into each other within "No Man's Sky", but the chances of that happening due to how massive the areas of this game can really offer.
"No Man's Sky" will launch on Aug. 9 in the United States, Aug. 10 in Europe and Aug. 12 in the United Kingdom for the PS4 and PC platforms.
