The Japanese game company teased a new trailer for the game in English dub and possibly a gameplay demo of it, while other gaming fans speculate that they will also announce the western release date of the game for the PS3 and PS4.
Several rumors are making rounds that "Persona 5" western release date could be changed and will launch on next year as it might be featured in the new "PlayStation 4 Neo" as it had the ability to take advantage of the higher processing power. While others believed that the game will be out in the west for about four to six months within this year.
So far, Atlus has not yet made any comments regarding the western release date for "Persona 5" on both PlayStation consoles.
In other news, three new "Persona" summons have been revealed online and they are owned by game's new characters; Makoto Niisshima, Futaba Sakura and Haru Okumura.
Makoto Niishima's persona is called Johanna and takes the form of a motorcycle with a human shaped head on the front. The name Makoto's persona is named after Pope Joan, the first female Pope that led the church during the Middle Ages.
The second persona summon is called Necronomicon and it is owned by a computer hacker Futuba Sakura. Its appearance resembles that of a UFO alien space ship and its name came from a grimoire legend. Necronomicon has the power to identify and assist the party with vital information during battles and shows off Futuba's true potential.
Lastly, Haru Okumura's persona is called Milady and it looks like a regal lady wearing a beautiful dress with embrodied lilies. However, underneath the dress is a powerful weapon which she uses to dispatch enemies. Her name was taken from the charater appearing in the Three Musketeers, RPGFan reported.
"Persona 5" will feature seven high school individuals and a talking cat named Morgana as they embark on a dangerous journey as Phantom Thieves, stealing the hearts of corrupted individuals in the world called "The Palace".
Several of its game features include such as "Sneak" and "All-Out-Attack" skills, dangerous dungeons to explore and real world activities like going school, participating in school events, working in restaurants riding the train etc.
"Persona 5" will launch on Sept. 15 in Japan, while the western release of the game will be out sometime this year for the PS3 and PS4 consoles.
