Iain Glen who played the recurring character of Jorah Mormont since season 1 to season 6 of "Game of Thrones" is worried about his future in the show. Because of the incurable greyscale virus that infected Jorah, he might not make it in the future seasons.
Glen, who chatted with Vulture seemed to show in his words that he is really worried. In the episode 5 of season 6, Jorah's illness was already revealed to her queen. Khaleesi ordered Jorah to find the cure and return to her side once he is healed but there was no assurance that he'll be coming back.
The greyscale virus has no known cure so the speculation here is that this might be his last season of "Game of Thrones." In his interview, Glen said, "They've got a worried actor on their hands. For any actor on the show, most of the time we're just thinking, 'Please keep me alive!'" According to him, he is one of the very lucky casts to be part of the show since the pilot episode.
It might be worrisome for Glen to what have become of Jorah in the show but he explained that it was a blessing when his left warm was the one infected by the virus and not his sword hand. This could mean that he still has a longer time to stay with the show.
It is not only Jorah who was infected with the virus that was shown in "Game of Thrones." The late daughter of Stannis Barratheon, Shireen was infected with the virus too and the stone-like skin appeared in her left cheek. According to MTV News, she got the virus from a contaminated doll so this means that the virus is not just passed by skin-to-skin contact. Her father, Stannis did not give up on finding the cure for her. He tried all kinds of healing but nothing worked.
Going back to Jorah's fate, it is not yet officially revealed by the producers or any of the characters in the show that he will not be coming back. It is still something to wait for the fans if he will do everything to fulfill his queen's command.
