Persona 5 will release on February 14, 2017 for PlayStation 4 users

Atlus has just announced that their Persona 5 game for the PlayStation 4 will be released on February 14, 2017 exactly on Valentine's Day with a special Take Your Heart Collector's Edition available.

Players will have a hard time choosing whether to go on a date with their loved one or line up at the nearest game store to buy the new Persona 5 on Valentine's day next year. For those with significant others that are also into the game, they could be lucky.

The Persona franchise has made a large fanbase with their unique RPG games. It was also one of the most played games on the Sony PlayStation Portable when it was still a big hit.

The Persona 5 Take Your Heart collector's edition will include a collectible box plus a 64-page hardcover art book, IGN has learned. Atlus will also give a SteelBook case, a replica school bag of the Shujin Academy and a soundtrack CD.

PS4 players can grab the game for $59.99. PlayStation 3 players will have it cheaper for $49.99 while the collector's edition will cost a total of $89.99.

PlayStation 4 users who can pre-order the game will get the Persona 5 Take Your Heart collector's edition for free when the game launches on Valentine's Day 2017. That could be a total of $30 in savings.

Bad news for PS Vita users as the game would be an exclusive for the PS4 and the PS3. There are even no speculations of the game making its way for the portable handheld console.

The Shujin Academy replica bag will be fully-sized. Players can take them outside to boast that they are an avid fan of the Persona 5 game next year.

Character designer Shigenori Soejima filled the pages of the art book with the concept sketches and more, Kotaku reported. It will be a good collectible for those who like to admire how the game was conceptualized.

Persona 5 fans will have to wait for the North America release on February 14, 2017. PlayStation 4 owners can now pre-order the game to receive the Take Your Heart collector's edition for no additional charge once it comes out.
