"The Legend of Zelda Wii U" hero Link fires a power arrow against an enemy in an intense battle.

As the Electronic Entertainment Expo draws near, several of the much-awaited scenes in technology are already being rumored to be featured during the event. As for Nintendo, the company has already announced their event schedule. Because of this, fans are already gearing up for the official launching of "The Legend of Zelda" for Wii U especially that Nintendo is rumored to be unveiling it alongside the Nintendo X console.

"The Legend of Zelda" for Wii U will be the 19th installment in the game series and will aslo be the first original installment that will be featuring high-definition resolution. Based on Nintendo's announcement, the upcoming game will be the only game announced by the company, but there were reports suggesting this may not be the case, Polygon reported.

As for the 500 lucky fans who will be able to play and become part of the beta testing of "The Legend of Zelda" during the event, they only have to register themselves. They have to head over to Nintendo's NY event happening on June 11 and register from 7 AM onwards. The signing up will be on a first come first serve basis and Nintendo will stop registration once a pool of 500 fans has been completed. For those who will not be able to sign themselves, they will still be able to check at least some guided demos of "The Legend of Zelda," the report added.

Aside from "The Legend of Zelda," other demos will also be featured during the event. It is rumored that "Pokemon Sun and Moon" and other role-playing games like "Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past" and "Monster Hunter Generations"  will be available on the succeeding days, Finder reported.

Meanwhile, it has been reported by several sources that the reason for the delayed release of Nintendo NX is the company's plan to make the device VR-compatible. As the VR technology becomes more popular, the company wanted to incorporate it in their upcoming console as well. Right now, the official release for the Nintendo NX is secured on March 2017, the same report added.
