‘Pokémon Sun and Moon’ news, updates: June CoroCoro issue reveals Nekkoala, Iwanko Pokémon [VIDEO]

'Pokémon Sun and Moon' are the next new games in the Pokémon franchise.

The Japanese magazine, CoroCoro, is reputable for revealing accurate information for "Pokémon" games. Now, the June issue of CoroCoro has leaked, displaying two new Pokémon for the much awaited "Pokémon Sun and Moon."

The first Pokémon, Nekkoala, is the Half Awake Pokémon, according to Serebii. This Pokémon has the capability Definite Sleep, which is a brand new ability that prevents the Pokémon from being bothered by any state that is not sleep. The publication revealed that Nekkoala is a Normal-form Pokémon.

The second Pokémon is one that fans have been introduced to before. Iwanko is the dog/deer Pokémon that briefly displayed in one of the previous "Pokémon Sun and Moon" teasers, iDigital Times noted. The Pokémon is a Rock-type.

Iwanko is believed to be the Puppy Pokémon and it will sport either the Keen Eye that prevents it precision from being reduced, or Vital Spirit that prevents sleep. Together with the two new Pokémon, the June CoroCoro issue has unveiled some new stills for the upcoming Pokémon film that features Magearna and Volcanion.

From the issue, it is clear that the special Greninja being distributed together with the Pokémon movie in Japan has been given its attacks. The Greninja will sport Gunk Shot, Hydro Pump, Happy Hour and Block Mat, and Protean - the Hidden Ability.

The first Gen 7 Pokémon, Magearna, will be distributed to those who attend the movie throud a QR code. Magearna's ability is referred to as Soul Heart, and it will come with new attack in the name of Furuuru Cannon.

The June CoroCoro issue has just surfaced and more information will be translated soon. Avid fans should stay tuned for more updates as soon as they come in.

Meanwhile, the CoroCoro initially promised that its June release would come with an exclusive scoop and they have delivered with the two brand new Pokémon. The game publisher, Nintendo, has also updated its Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 plans to include "Pokémon Sun and Moon." Therefore, gamers should expect to see more gameplay and probably new Pokémon.
