Bandai Namco announced Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 this year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox one and PC platforms.

Just recently, Bandai Namco already announced that "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" producer, Masayuki Hirano, will be attending the Japan Expo on July. Hirano will be attending the said event during its entire duration from July 7 to 10, and fans will have the chance to ask him questions related to his career.

Part of promoting the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is the confirmation of its other details and information. The game was previously announced in May and was confirmed for a PC, PS4 and Xbox One release later this year, Attack of the Fan Boy reported.

Aside from this, the same report said last May that the game will be playable at the said expo. The event organizers took the announcement to Twitter that the game can be played for the first time at the booth of Bandai Namco France. It was also revealed a few weeks ago that "Xenoverse 2" will be released December this year.

The first "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" was released for PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles in Japan last Feb. 5, 2015. It later shipped to the United States on Feb. 25, in Europe in Feb. 27 and debuted in PC via Steam on Feb. 27, Anime News Network reported.

According to the same report, the goal of the players in the game is to protect the history of "Dragon Ball" so that its events will not be altered. Players will go on different missions to prevent history from being changed. Jowever, they are also allowed to alter events they deem necessary to change. Two of these scenarios they can try to alter is the death of Bardock and the dark future where Trunks is living in a desolate place destroyed by Androids 17 and 18.

It is expected some unannounced feature of the game may be revealed during the Japan Expo 2016 as its producer will be present in the event. Fans will also have the opportunity to confirm any rumor surrounding the sequel or any new gameplay which may be featured. More details are expected to be revealed as its release date in December approaches.
