Just Dance 2017 will be available for the Nintendo NX

Ubisoft has just announced their very first game for the upcoming Nintendo NX hybrid console, Just Dance 2017, with a list of official soundtrack coming from various artists such as Justin Bieber and Major Lazer.

Fans have been expecting the Nintendo NX to be on par as the Project Scorpio Xbox One or the PlayStation NEO in terms of performance and lineup of games. Ubisoft's Just Dance 2017 certainly does not help in the impression.

There is still hope for more AAA games to flock the hybrid console from Nintendo. However, the fact that Watch Dogs 2 did not include the console as a supported platform does raise some concern.

Besides Just Dance 2017 from Ubisoft, there have been more games announced earlier for the said console. The Legend of Zelda, Dragon Quest X and Dragon Quest XI may be coming to the Nintendo NX as well, GameSpot has learned.

The new installment of Ubisoft's dancing game will also be available for the Wii U, the Xbox 360, the PlayStation 3, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. Interestingly, it will also be available for the PC through digital download stores.

Ubisoft France Managing Director Xavier Poix said at their E3 2016 presentation that Just Dance 2017 will be the "Netflix of dance" which will be available for the Nintendo NX, VentureBeat reported.

The game will be shipping with 250 songs. Some of them have already been named by Ubisoft such as "Sorry" by Justin Bieber, "Lean On" by Major Lazer Ft. MØ & DJ Snake, "What is Love" by Ultraclub 90 and "September" by Equinox Stars.

Just Dance has been played through the Xbox Kinect and the PlayStation Move sensors. Since it has been announced for the Nintendo NX, it would be fair to assume that the hybrid console would also have some form of motion sensor in order for the dancing game to work.

Ubisoft has not disclosed the release date of Just Dance 2017 for the Nintendo NX but there is a possibility it can be shipped with the hybrid console on March 2017. More tracks are expected to be added over time.
