Cupertino-based company Apple has revealed macOS 12 at Worldwide Developers Conference. Apple has also announced a new way to unlock a user's Mac. Instead of typing a long password several times a day, a user's Mac will be automatically unlocked if they are wearing an Apple Watch.
It will work with a user's iPhone also. However, the software giant did not say how it would do it. When a user wears an Apple Watch, they can unlock it with their phone using Touch ID. Once it is unlocked, it stays unlocked as long as the watch is on a user's wrist. However, if a user removes the Apple Watch from their wrist, the watch senses it and they will have to unlock it again.
Rumors are also doing the rounds that the company will unveil the MacBook Pro 2016 pretty soon.
The upcoming MacBook Pro is expected to sport a slimmer body. Reports suggest that an HDMI port, a Thunderbolt port and USB port will be replaced by USB-C ports, according to a TechCrunch report.
The 2016 MacBook Pro is also expected to get a Touch ID sensor. In addition, the new device could feature a small OLED touchscreen above your keyboard, Macworld UK reported.
