Apple unveiled its mobile operating system, iOS 10, during WWDC 2016.

Apple revealed its next-generation mobile operating system, iOS 10, at Worldwide Developers Conference 2016, describing the OS at the "biggest iOS release ever." iOS 10 has the best new features that will make their way to iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch this fall.

The Cupertino-based tech giant held its annual WWDC 2016 and displayed the first look of watchOS 3, macOS Sierra, tvOS, and iOS 10. Although there are many new features in each OS, the company concentrated on iOS 10, indicating its strong dedication on improving users' experience, in addition to incorporating new and welcomed features.

In a statement via Apple official website, Craig Federighi said, "iOS 10 is our biggest release ever, with delightful new ways to express yourself in Messages, a native app for Home automation, and beautifully redesigned apps for Music, Maps, and News that are more intuitive and more powerful, making everything you love about your iPhone and iPad even better."

Federighi, who is the senior vice president of Software Engineering at Apple, added that the iOS 10 adds Siri intelligence into QuickType and Photos. Besides automating the device's home with the new Home app and opening up Siri, Maps, Phone, and Messages to developers, the OS increases security and privacy with powerful technologies like Differential Privacy.

iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus come with an updated Touch ID module, making it fast at reading a user's fingerprint, it is almost impossible to check notifications, date, and time from the lock screen by pressing the Home button. The module unlocks the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus so fast.

Apple dealt with this problem in iOS 10 with "Raise to wake." Now, users only need to pick up their iPhone to wake it up and view notifications without ever touching the Home or power button.

Furthermore, Apple completely revamped iOS 10's Music app, making it instinctive and less chaotic. The company as well added features like song lyrics when listening to a song and a brand new design for Apple Music.

During the WWDC 2016, Apple managed to highlight a few of the best new features in iOS 10. For those who want a complete list, head to Apple's iOS 10 preview official website. Watch the sneak peek below for more information on WWDC 2016:
