KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts MacBook Pro 2016 will come in two variants - 13-inch and 15-inch, MacRumors reported. The two laptops are set to be in the market by the last quarter of this year. With Apple's new technology of metal-injection mold-made hinges and proprietary butterfly-mechanism keyboard, the laptops are expected to be thinner and lighter than the earlier models of the company's high-end machines.
With regard to the Operating System, it is reported that future Apple laptops will sport a new version of software for Apple computers - a rebranded macOS. If this turns out to be true, fans should expect to see the new OS on the MacBook Pro 2016.
When it comes to the release date for the 2016 MacBook Pro, reports have it that the laptop will come out this year in the fall. Rumors suggest that the laptop will be revealed during Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), which takes place this June from 13 to 17, with preorders slated to begin shortly thereafter.
However, there has also been speculations that the Cupertino-based tech giant may not make any hardware announcement during the WWDC. Instead, Apple would be concentrating on delivering news and updates for their software. Fans expect many updates about software, including the much-rumored iOS 10.
Through iOS 10, users will have the ability to conceal unwanted default applications from their home screen, besides other new features and changes. iOS 10 will reportedly be a version of the Apple software that the upcoming iPhone 7 will run on, and other Apple devices expected to release this year such as the iPad Mini 5 or iPad Air 3.
