'Deadpool' is a 2016 American superhero comedy film directed by Tim Miller, produced by Simon Kinberg and Lauren Shuler Donner, and written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.

New details for "Deadpool 2" will feature a new Marvel villain added to the sequel and a possible team-up between Wade Wilson and Quicksilver.

With the success of "X-Men: Apocalypse" in the big screen this year, Fox looks to continue that "X-Men" film franchise by adding spin-offs like "New Mutants", "Gambit" and "X-Force", even a TV series based on Professor X's son Legion. For now, they are working on "Wolverine 3" and "Deadpool 2" films and will possibly out next year very soon.

"Deadpool 2" will feature the time travelling mutant Nathaniel Summers/Cable to the big screen and several actors such as "Expendables" star Dolph Lungren, "Avatar" star Stephan Lang and "Hellboy" star Ron Perlman made it their point to be cast as Cable for thr sequel in varioys interviews and in social media.

However, it seems that a new character will possibly join both Wade Wilson/Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) and Cable soon as "Deadpool" co-star Ed Skrein pitched that Taskmaster should be in the sequel as he told IGN that having Taskmaster will be fun citing that both characters will be funny when they are together and Taskmaster will not have morals compared to Deadpool who has some.

Taskmaster in the comics, is a super villain mercenary who has worked and trained several villains and has been a part of several groups such as A.I.M., Thunderbolts, Cabal and many more. His powers include a photographic reflexes which enables him mimic the moves and fighting styles of everyone he encounters either hero nor villain. These two mercenaries have fought before in the comics, and Taskmaster admits at one point that Deadpool is difficult to beat due to his chaotic and unpredictable personality.

Meanwhile, another X-Men character will likely be added to the "Deadpool 2" movie as "X-Men: Apocalypse" star Evan Peters wants a team up with Wade Wilson.

Peters told TheWrap that he would like to see a Quicksilver/Deadpool team-up in the future stating that it will be "fun" to see. Peters added that he also desires to have a solo movie for Quicksilver, but it will take like three yeats to do so.

With success of the first "Deadpool" film, fans wanted to see more of the Merc with the Mouth interact with other X-Men members similar to Colossus (Stefan Kapičić) and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand). Fans will likely see more of that soon, possibly in "Deadpool 2" or other X-Men films and spin-offs.

"Deadpool 2's" release date is speculated to be on 2018 as Fox reserved the January 12 spot possibly placing the sequel there.
