The latest details for "One Punch Man" season 2 will feature a rumored release date on October, more than 12 episodes and an appearance at the Anime Expo 2016.
Several rumors are making rounds regarding the release date of "One Punch Man" season 2 as previous reports stated that the second season of the popular anime series will be delayed due to its lack of source materials for producers and artist to work on, but Yusuke Murata stated that they are already updating the source materials for anime.
New reports revealed that Murata and his team have been working very intensely in making "One Punch Man" season 2 happened as he is working several sketches, inked pages and storyboards for almost 10 hours everyday. It will likely take him and his team to finish the working the anime in haft a year leading to a October 2016 release, The Christian Post reported.
Aside from the rumored launch date, "One Punch Man" season 2 will feature more than 12 episode due to the manga series having nine volumes and Saitama's story will not end so soon. With this in mind, Madhouse could have more materials they can use for the second season and even in future plans for the anime show.
In other news, anime fans will look forward to new details for "One Punch Man" season 2 as Saitama voice actor Makoto Fukurawa and anime director Shingo Natsume along with the rest of the "One Punch Man" production team will attending this year's Anime Expo event on July 1-4 in Los Angeles, California.
There will also be a special performance by Japanese rock band JAM Project who is responsible for "One Punch Man's" opening theme song, Crunchyroll reported.
As for the plot of season 2, several fan speculations stated that Saitama will be facing Silver Fangs' former pupil Garou in the "Hero Hunt" arc, while other hints claimed that Saitama will meet Lord Boros again in a rematch. Lastly the final rumored plot will have Saitama and Genos being caught up in a middle of a "civil war" between Hero Association and the Hero Hunters.
Anime fans will have to wait for more information regarding "One Punch Man" season 2 in the Anime Expo event next month along with a new trailer, new cast of characters and an official release date.
