After its huge success back in 2013, it is now confirmed that "Frozen 2" is finally happening. Disney has been known for producing animated movies that people of all ages enjoy watching; however, fans of "Frozen" may be disappointed to know that Elsa will die in the upcoming "Frozen 2."
"Frozen" was first released almost 3 years ago, and up until today, we can still hear those endless "Let it go's" from children all over the world. Now that it's confirmed that Disney is already in the process of making a sequel for the movie, their production is a bit pressured.
So how will they be able to reach the success of the first "Frozen" movie?
According to Movie News Guide, "Frozen 2" is already on its working stage and the production team are really thinking it through on how they want the story to flow. Idina Menzel, who plays the role of Elsa, said that "Frozen 2" is already at the story line stage, which is considered as the most crucial stage because it is where the writers decide the faith of the characters.
Even Menzel doesn't have any idea on what's instore for Elsa in the upcoming sequel, and she even jokingly stated "We are at story writing and they're working on it and I think I'm in it. That's all I know - unless maybe Elsa falls off an ice cliff and she dies in the first five minutes," which got people speculating that there's a chance Elsa would die in "Frozen 2."
According to HNGN, aside from the possibility of Elsa's death, it is also rumored that one of the fans' favorite character would be finding his true love in the upcoming sequel. It is rumored that Olaf would finally have a girlfriend in "Frozen 2." As seen on the first "Frozen" movie, Olaf became the star because of how helpful he was with each character, and now that it seemed like he's done his part, people would like to see him find a partner of his own.
Although most of this speculations are merely based on rumors, especially the one about Elsa's death which would seem a bit tragic for a Disney film, people would just have to wait until Disney finally dish out some information about the upcoming sequel.
Premiere date of "Frozen 2" is still unknown as of the moment.
