According to latest reports, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will feature a dual edge curved screen. It is expected that the Samsung device will release as Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Edge. Digital Trends reported that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 features a 5.7-inch display. However, various reports indicate that the Galaxy Note 7 will sport a 5.8-inch screen.

Storage

The Galaxy Note 5 comes in storage versions of  64 GB and 32 GB. It is said that the upcoming Galaxy Note 7 will come in storage versions of 256 GB, 128 GB and 64 GB.

IP68 Certification

It is believed that the forthcoming phablet will offer dust and water resistant capacities. Rumor has it that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will come with a IP68 certified chassis.

Processor

According to a report from BGR, the upcoming Galaxy Note 7 will be powered by Snapdragon 823 SoC and will come with 6 GB of RAM. On the other hand, the Galaxy Note 5 is powered by Exynos 7420 processor and has 4GB of RAM.

MicroSD Slot

The Galaxy Note 5 does not have a microSD slot. Speculations are doing the rounds that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will come with a hybrid SIM card slot that will enable owners to add microSD card on the second SIM slot.

USB Type-C port

According to reports, the upcoming phablet will feature a USB Type-C port.

Battery

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 packs a 3000mAh non removable battery. The Note 7 is expected to have a 4,000 mAh battery.
