Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the "Captain America: Civil War and the new "Spider-Man" 2017 film.

New details for "Spider-Man: Homecoming" will feature Logan Marshall-Green's possible role in the film and Zendaya's character will be Peter Parker's new love interest.

A new cast member has been announced for Marvel Studios "Spider-Man: Homecoming" as "Prometheus" star Logan Marshall-Green will be joining the film along with Tom Holland, Marisa Tomie, Zendaya, Michael Keaton etc.. Green told The Hollywood Reporter that he will be "partners-in-crime" with Keaton's character making him the film's secondary villain to Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Holland) in the film.

While the characters of both Keaton and Green have not been officially announced, several rumored reports and speculations suggest that "Spider-Man: Homecoming's" villains will be Adriam Toomes/The Vulture and Phineas Mason/The Tinkerer. Toome's Vulture suit will be made by the Tinkerer based on Chitauri technology that were scattered during the battle of New York in the first "Avengers" film.

Could this mean that Green's roled could be The Tinkerer since he is partners-in-crime with Keaton's character? Although the character from the comics is much older than Green, Marvel Studios has a habit tweaking its original characters having their own spin of the villain for the MCU.

So far, Marvel has not yet announced the official details regarding both Keaton and Green's characters in "Spider-Man: Homecoming".

In other news, it seems that Peter Parker will be having a new love interest in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" as director John Watts revealed new details about the film.

Watts told The Daily Beast that he was present during the shoots of "Captain America: Civil War" and observed how the Russo brothers helm the film and Watts has figured it out what approach he will be doing for "Spider-Man: Homecoming.

When asked about what "Community" star Donald Glover's possible role of Miles Morales in the film, Watts replied by saying that he cannot say anything about it, but it will be cool if he had "spilled" some secrets.

However, Watts did confirmed that "Spider-Man: Homecoming" will have a diverse cast of characters as pop singer Zendaya's character Michelle will be Peter's love interest in the film stating it is a byproduct of films setting in Queens, New York. He explained that Queens is one of the most diverse places in the world and wants audiences to reflect on what it is like there.

Peter and Michelle's chemistry in the new "Spider-Man" team will be interesting to see since movie goers and comic book fans are already introduced to Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst) in the Sam Raimi "Spider-Man" trilogy and Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) in Marc Webb's "The Amazing Spider-Man" films.

There are also hints that Avenger members Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) will be appearing some point within the film.

"Spider-Man: Homecoming" will be release on July 7, 2017.
