'Crash Bandicoot' PS4 news: Sony to launch three remastered 'Crash Bandicoot' games; Will there be a new sequel in the works soon?

Sony announced PS4 remastered versions of three Crash Bandicoot games from the original PlayStation console and an guest appearance on Skylander.

New details for "Crash Bandicoot" PS4 remake will feature three remastered "Crash" games from the original PlayStation console and will there be a new sequel in the works after its launch.

It was during the Electronic Entertainment Expo event last week that Sony heard the calling of video game fans that want to see a "Crash Bandicoot" game for the PlayStation 4 console as several rumors and speculations were featured on several internet sites that teased a possible "Crash Bandicoot" game in the works.

Sony was made aware of the fans need for the return of "Crash Bandicoot" as they announced that they are working on remastered versions of the three "Crash Bandicoot" games from the original PlayStation console; "Crash Bandicoot", "Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back" and "Crash Bandicoot: Warped". In addition, a new trailer for "Skylanders: Imaginators" also features Crash as a playable character within the game as his attacks are similar to previous games and gains a new look in the process, Polygon reported.

What makes "Crash Bandicoot's" return to the PS4 more interesting is that the three games which are going to be remastered were developed by Naughty Dog and their recent video game, "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" featured a cut scene were in Drake is playing "Crash Bandicoot" on Elena's game console which happens to be the first PlayStation console.

So far, Activision still has the rights to "Crash Bandicoot" and may possibly be the ones to develop the remastered version of the three "Crash Bandicoot" games and with Sony's announcement of the remastered editions, could this lead to a new game sequel soon?

The remastered versions of the three "Crash Bandicoot" titles could be exciting to video game fans, no doubt a new game will emerge soon and it maybe handled by both Sony and Activision unless plans will change, Gamerant reported.

For now, PlayStation fans will be eager to know more about the three "Crash Bandicoot" remastered games for the PS4 as will his appearance in "Skylanders: Imaginators" soon.

"Crash Bandicoot" was original developed by Naught Dog and it was exclusive only for the PlayStation console. The original game debut in 1996 and was re-launched in 2007 as a downloadable game in the PSN.

There is no release date yet for "Crash Bandicoot" remastered versions for the PS4 console.
