'Grand Theft Auto V [GTA 5]' is an open world, action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games.

Rockstar Games has updated "GTA 5" multiplayer component with a new mode dubbed "GTA" Online Adversary Mode. It has also launched the game's latest weekly event, bringing steep discounts to "GTA 5" players.

According to Game Spot, the Adversary Mode, which is also known as Power Play, looks outrageous. As seen in the trailer, gamers pick up powerups that are scattered throughout the map and use them for their benefit.

They include Beasted, Zoned, Doped, Raging, flipped, and Dark. Each one of them has special descriptions matching with their benefits. For Beasted, a player can transform into a Beast and use their special powers, which include invisibility, super strength, and super jump.

Zoned, on the other hand, slows down time for all players, enabling snipers to enjoy a tactical advantage over the exposed enemies. With Doped, a player can dull their enemies' senses with a green haze even without them noticing.

Raging allows a player to unleash a rampage with their entire team by inflicting increased damage while at the same time taking less damage. Then again, they can use Flipped to scramble their enemies by temporarily inverting enemy camera controls, besides mixing team chats.

Lastly, Dark can help a player take their team off the grid to enhance well-timed sneak attacks. According to Express, even with these "GTA" tools at hand, players can only use one powerup at a time.

Rockstar announced that there would be a significant and strategic component to how teams will work together to make the most out of what they have. Layers of strategy will exist through stacking powers with other teammates or even triggering them to counteract enemy team advantages.

Currently, there are three Power Play maps in "GTA 5" including Vespicci Beach, Aircraft Carrier, and Bolingbroke Prison. The most recent "GTA" update has also added the Grotti X80 Proto Supercar, which can be purchased from Legendary Motorsport.

To encourage and appreciate "GTA 5" Online gamers, Rockstar is offering double "GTA$" and RP for one week until June 27. The mode can be accessed through "GTA" Online's Jobs Menu.
