Bran Stark with the Three-eyed Raven in one of season 6 episodes.

It is believed that Bran Stark, through his power of vision, will finally be able to figure out what transpired in the tower of joy and will reach out to Jon Snow as soon as he determines the latter's true identity. As the series nears its conclusion, surprise deaths of some characters are also expected to emerge.

Bran will be able to verify the true events that happened at the tower of joy which will confirm that Lyanna is actually Jon's mother who died from giving birth to the latter, as what many fans theorized. With season 6 ending on Sunday, several fans believe the R + L = J theory will finally be unfolded in the upcoming episode.

Through whatever way, Bran will be reaching out to Jon as soon as possible, through a physical reunion, by warging or in a dream. Jon will be able to know the truth that he is the son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaeger Targaryen.

With the series' development of unfolding revelations, it may be expected that season 6 finale will be full of shocking and surprising disclosures along with jam-packed action scenes, Chicago Tribune reported. Throughout its entire history, "Game of Thrones" did not follow a tradition of revealing shocking scenes towards the end of every season. It can be recalled that Ned Stark's beheading and the massacre at Red Wedding did not come out as season-ender episodes.

But as the series progressed, the showrunners was able to develop a scheme by ending the succeeding seasons with surprising revelations. Say, Tyrion shooting his father at the end of season 4, fleeing from King's Landing after being accused of poisoning Joffrey, while Jon was stabbed by brothers of Night's Watch at the end of season 5. As for this season's finale, Liam Cunningham hinted it would be a bit different from the previous season-enders, Hollywood Report reported.

In his interview the 55-year old actor said, "For a couple of seasons, we've built up to episode nine. We have this huge episode nine, and then going into episode 10, we see where we are for the season, and we start setting up the next season." He confirmed there will be a lot of surprises coming up for "Winds of Winter."
