'The Winds of Winter' is the sixth novel in George R. R. Martin's epic fantasy series 'A Song of Ice and Fire.

HBO's "Game of Throne" Season 6 just wrapped up with episode 10 titled "The Winds of Winter," and now focus has shifted on George RR Martins novel with the same title. Latest rumors have it that Martin has already completed writing "The Winds of Winter," which is the sixth installment in "A Song of Ice and Fire" series.

Martin's "The Winds of Winter" has been long hyped, with its predecessor releasing back in 2011. The entire series of "A Song of Ice and Fire" has been running for two decades now.

As opposed to releasing the novel and giving fans and readers what they have been clamoring for, Martin has been unveiling bits of sneak peeks through different chapter snippets. The author has released sections of the chapters that are reportedly sufficient to create an e-book, something that has spurred rumors that Martin could have as well finished writing "Winds of Winter."

Martin's gradual pace of writing has been a hot topic on the internet recently. In fact, Stephen King, Martin's fellow novelist, was with "Winds of Winter" author in Albuquerque for the former's "End of Watch" book trip. Martin interviewed the horror king with a major question relating to their drastically different pace in writing, according to Bangor Daily News.

A transcribed section of the interview via Reddit shows Martin asking King on how he managed to release many book so fast. "A Song of Ice and Fire" wordsmith pointed out that he can only manage to write 3 chapters within six months, while within the same period, King writes three books.

King responded that he writes on a daily basis, and he is compelled to write at least six pages per day. Martin was amazed and asked King whether he keeps up to the plan regardless of unforeseen hiccups.

Martin joked, "You always get six pages? You never get constipated? You never get up and go get the mail, and think 'Maybe I don't have any talent and should have been a plumber?"

While the official release date for "The Winds of Winter is yet to be revealed, fans speculate that the author is done with writing. Here is a peek for more information:
